Our Return & Refund Policy: Simple and TransparentUpdated an hour ago

Changed your mind? You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return or exchange.

📦 Change-of-Mind Returns

To be eligible for a change-of-mind refund, your item must be:

  • Unused and in its original condition
  • In its original packaging
  • Non-personalised
  • Returned within 30 days of delivery

As personalised jewellery is made specifically for you, personalised items aren't eligible for a change-of-mind refund. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to offer an exchange or store credit instead.

🛠 Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your jewellery arrives faulty, damaged, isn't as described or isn't what you ordered, please contact us at [email protected].

Personalised jewellery is still covered when there's a genuine fault or we've made an error with your order. Depending on the issue, we'll provide an appropriate remedy, which may include a repair, replacement or refund.

Where possible, please include your order number, a brief description of the problem and a photo showing the issue. This usually helps us resolve things more quickly.

❌ What Isn't Considered a Fault?

If we've made your jewellery according to the options and personalisation you submitted, a change of preference isn't considered a product fault. For example:

  • Translations: We offer a complimentary translation service for Arabic, Hebrew, Korean and Japanese. We recommend checking the translation before ordering and, where possible, entering the exact characters you'd like us to use.
  • Font choice: Available font options are displayed on the relevant product page. Changing your mind about the appearance of a font after your piece has been made isn't considered a fault.
  • Personalisation: If you asked us to engrave “ALEXANDRA”, for example, and we've produced it exactly that way, deciding afterwards that you'd prefer “Alexandra” isn't considered a fault.

If we've made a mistake with your personalisation, that's different — please contact us and we'll put it right.

💰 Orders Purchased During a Promotion

For change-of-mind returns on orders purchased as part of a “Buy 1, Get X Free” or similar promotion, any discretionary refund or store credit may be calculated proportionally based on the amount actually paid for the order.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.

🚚 How to Return an Item

Please contact us at [email protected] before sending your item back. We'll provide you with the correct return address and instructions.

Once you've sent your return, please keep your postage receipt and tracking information until your return has been completed.

Return Postage

For change-of-mind returns, you're responsible for the cost of returning the item. We recommend using a tracked postal service, as you're responsible for the parcel until it reaches the return address provided by our team.

If your item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, contact us before arranging the return. Where required under Australian Consumer Law, we'll cover reasonable return costs or provide an appropriate way to return the item.

🔄 What Happens After We Receive Your Return?

Once your return arrives, our team will inspect and process it. We'll email you once your refund or exchange has been approved and processed.

If a refund is due, it will be issued to your original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may take a few additional business days to show the funds in your account.

🎁 Returning a Gift

If you've received a My Little Necklace piece as a gift and would like to return it, please contact us first.

Refunds are generally returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to offer the gift recipient store credit instead.

🇦🇺 Australian Consumer Law

Our 30-day change-of-mind policy is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have when goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fail to meet a consumer guarantee.

If you need help with a return, refund or exchange, email us at [email protected].
